Find Your Pathway Workshops

Your interests. Your next step.

Sometimes people know they want something more — a job, a new direction, greater independence, something meaningful to do, or simply to feel more connected — but they don't know where to start.

About the workshop

What our workshops are about

Find Your Pathway is a practical one-day workshop designed to help people work out what could come next.

Our workshops are for everyone. We work with people at different ages, stages and backgrounds, including young people, people with disability, people over 50 and people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds.

Groups are run separately so the day can be shaped around the people attending and what is relevant to them.

The workshop isn't about telling people what they should do. It's about helping each person recognise their interests, strengths, experience and possibilities — and then turning those into realistic next steps.

We keep groups small, the atmosphere relaxed and welcoming, and the focus firmly on the individual.

Every participant leaves with their own written pathway plan.

Throughout the day

What we cover in the day

Throughout the day, we work together to explore seven key questions — each one building on the last.

1

Where am I now?

Understanding where you are today, what is working and what you would like to change.

2

What am I good at?

Identifying strengths, skills, experience and things you may not have realised you already bring to the table.

3

What am I interested in?

Looking at what you enjoy, what motivates you and what you would like more of in your life.

4

What are my options?

Exploring opportunities in employment, volunteering, education, training and community connection.

5

What's getting in the way?

Identifying barriers and looking at practical ways to work through them.

6

Who can help me?

Connecting the dots between the person and the local services, organisations, programs and opportunities that may be able to support their next step.

7

What's my next step?

Turning everything we've discovered during the day into a practical, achievable pathway forward.

At the end of the day

Every participant leaves with a written pathway plan outlining their interests, goals and next steps — something they can take away and continue working on.

Tracy Young

Workshop Facilitator

Tracy has spent years working alongside people to help them navigate change, recognise their strengths and find opportunities that genuinely fit who they are.

She has a natural ability to see beyond where someone is today and help them discover where they could go next.

Her experience across disability, employment, support coordination and community connection means she understands that everyone's pathway looks different.

Tracy's approach is practical, down-to-earth and person-led. She creates a space where people can talk openly, explore ideas and start seeing possibilities they may not have considered before.

For Tracy, the workshop isn't about deciding someone's future for them. It's about helping them discover it for themselves.

Where you are today doesn't define where you're going next.
